Beyond the Screens: How I Took 22 CEOs on a Transformational CNT Bootcamp in Maasai Mara

In the high-speed world of tech and digital innovation, it’s so easy to get caught in a constant loop of meetings, deadlines, and deliverables. As the CEO of Oracom Group—home to 16 dynamic brands—I understand firsthand how overwhelming it can get. But I also believe that the best leaders know when to pause, unplug, and reconnect—not just with others, but with themselves.

That’s exactly what inspired me to launch CEO’s Networking Tours (CNT), one of Oracom Group’s flagship brands focused on cultivating powerful peer connections among top-level leaders. And just recently, I had the honor of leading 22 CEOs on an unforgettable bootcamp retreat to the stunning Maasai Mara.

The Vision: Unplug. Reflect. Connect.

This wasn’t just a getaway—it was a bold initiative to create space for reflection, deeper networking, and rejuvenation. We traded office walls for wide-open skies and boardroom tables for bonfires in the wild.

The CNT Bootcamp wasn’t your typical leadership retreat. We ditched the usual presentations for early morning game drives, fireside conversations, unfiltered storytelling, and moments of honest connection. Being surrounded by nature gave all of us room to think, breathe, and engage meaningfully—with no distractions.

Creating an Environment for Authentic Leadership

For me, this wasn’t just about escaping the day-to-day grind. It was about building a new kind of space—one where CEOs and business leaders could show up not as titles or roles, but as real people. Away from the noise of Zoom calls and KPIs, we were able to form genuine bonds that I believe will outlast any formal business engagement.

Yes, I lead a tech company, but I’ve always known that behind the laptops and lines of code are people—visionaries, creatives, strategists—who need time to recharge. CNT is our way of giving leaders that balance.

More Than a Brand—It’s a Movement

Oracom Group is known for innovation and digital excellence, but I’m most proud when we create impact beyond business. CNT is part of our mission to build community, leadership, and human connection—things that often get overlooked in the digital space.

This Maasai Mara experience reminded me—and everyone who joined—that innovation doesn’t just happen in boardrooms. It also happens over shared stories, laughter in the wild, and quiet moments watching the sunrise over the savannah.

As CNT continues to grow, I remain committed to creating more of these transformative spaces. Because when leaders are well, our companies, our teams, and our impact grow even stronger.
